The Platform

Power to the People of Fontana

Fontana’s future should belong to the people who live here, not the corporations that profit from it. Joz Sida is running for Mayor to fight for a city built on justice, dignity, and opportunity for all. Her vision is a Fontana where families are safe, housing is affordable, and every voice matters.

Clean Air Is a Right, Not a Luxury

Enough is enough. Our children shouldn't need inhalers because City Hall rubber-stamps every warehouse that comes knocking. Joz will halt the warehouse explosion, push back against endless truck traffic, and fight for clean air in every neighborhood.

Asthma is not the cost of doing business — and Fontana's future won't be sacrificed for developer profits.

Affordable Housing Over Developer Handouts

Fontana families can't afford to live here anymore because City Hall keeps choosing developers over people. Joz will deliver:

  • Real affordable housing — not luxury units nobody can afford

  • Rent protections that keep families housed

  • Smart development that strengthens neighborhoods instead of displacing them

No more sweetheart deals for outsiders who cash out and leave. Our land belongs to our people.

City Services That Work — Period

Clean parks. Safe streets. Support for seniors. Real opportunities for youth. These aren't luxuries — they're basics. Yet too often we hear excuses, delays, and "that's just how it is." Not anymore.

Joz will run a city government that treats residents with dignity and delivers results. We're done settling for less than we deserve.

A People's Economy, Not a Warehouse Economy

Fontana is more than a distribution center. Joz fights for:

  • Small businesses and street vendors

  • Local entrepreneurs who invest here

  • Working families who need good jobs and fair wages

The current system leaves too many behind while corporations extract everything they can. Joz will build an economy rooted in community — where prosperity stays local.

End the Insider Game — Accountability Now

For too long, Fontana has been run like a private club. Residents get silenced, ignored, or punished for speaking truth to power. That ends now.

Joz brings transparent leadership, honest communication, and genuine respect for public input.

City Hall belongs to the people — not a handful of insiders protecting their interests.

Our Youth Deserve a Future Worth Inheriting

Young people shouldn't grow up breathing poison and inheriting broken systems. They deserve safe spaces, meaningful opportunities, clean parks, and pathways to good careers.

Joz will invest in youth programs, after-school support, and leadership development so the next generation doesn't just survive — they thrive.

Immigrant Families: Protected, Not Targeted

Joz knows the weight immigrant families carry — the fear, the sacrifice, the hope for something better. She will not allow ICE intimidation tactics or harassment in Fontana. Every resident deserves to feel safe dropping their kids at school, accessing city services, and participating in community life — regardless of immigration status.

We stand together. No family stands alone.
