Meet Joz
The Change
Fontana Needs
Jocelyn “Joz” Sida is a nationally recognized community organizer and proud daughter of immigrants, running to become the next Mayor of Fontana — the city she’s called home since she was 14.
Born in El Monte, California and raised in Fontana, Joz has spent her life fighting for equity, justice, and opportunity — from her hometown to the national stage. Her journey has taken her from organizing in neighborhoods like hers to shaping campaigns and mobilizing voters across the country. But her heart has always remained in Fontana, and she’s running for mayor to bring real, people-centered leadership back to the city.
Our Vision for Fontana
Joz is running for Mayor because she believes Fontana deserves leadership that puts people first — not warehouses, not corporate greed, but the families, workers, and communities that make this city home. The People's platform is rooted in justice, dignity, and opportunity for all.
